A hand carved bone fish hook style neck pendant. The matau-koru incorporates designs from both the hook and the koru. It brings abundance, good luck & new beginnings to the wearer.
It includes an adjustable waxed braid cord, a traditional style woven presentation case and a detailed description of the meaning of the carving.

Traditionally, the fisherman was an honoured status. His responsibility as a provider earned him great respect from his iwi (tribe).
