A beautiful silver hand-crafted Huia bird pendant by talented artist Madelyne Gourdin, with an inset piece of jade.
Complete with an adjustable plaited waxed braid cord. It also includes a traditional style woven presentation pouch and a description of the bird, now extinct.

The huia was a bird native to New Zealand (Aotearoa), that became extinct in the late 19th century. The female bird had a very long beak, featured in this piece.
