A large handcrafted New Zealand Jade Toki blade with a highly polished finish to bring out the amazing grain of the stone. It is embellished with paua eyes and is presented on a native timber base for display.

The Toki is the adze blade. When used as a tool it was bound onto a wooden handle and used to carve the great canoes and details on the meeting houses. The greenstone blade was revered as it makes the hardest, sharpest tools.
